CONSULTANCIES

ILO (2022)

Conducted Skills Needs Assessment in Typhoon Odette-affected regions. The report is part of a more extensive report to assess the recovery and rehabilitation needs of the areas devastated by the typhoon.

KRIVET (2022)

Served as the National Resource Person for the Philippines. The Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET) implemented the ASEAN-funded research "Enhancing the Competitiveness of ASEAN Human Resources through Responsive TVET Curriculum Supported by Involvement of Industries and Labour Market Information."

The Asia Foundation (2021)

Provided policy advice on the Future of Work through the Adopt 4ward Coalition.

Conducted research on the "Evaluation of TESDA Training Regulations."

UNICEF (2021)

Served as independent evaluator of the GPE-supported Philippine Basic EducationDevelopment Plan (2021-2030).

ILO (2021)

Conducted assesment of TVET and Labor Market Information Systems in the Philippines.

Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (2021)

Trained Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) officers in conducting community needs analysis and develop education project proposals.

UNESCO Beijing Office (2020-2021)

Conducted a policy review of Mongolia's ICT in education initiatives. Provided technical guidance to the Government of Mongolia to develop ICT in education masterplan.

Consuelo Foundation (2020)

Developed the Manual of Operations and Students Handbook of Darangan Kang Kabataan (DKK) Training and Assessment Center.

UNICEF (2020)

Prepared the Philippine proposal submitted to the Global Partnership for Education  (GPE). The USD 400,000 GPE grant helped DepEd prepare an education sector analysis and the first-ever Basic Education Development Plan (BEDP).

TESDA (2020)

Grant Awardee: National Technical Education and Skills Development Research Agenda. Conducted a study on increasing the participation of TVET providers in TESDA's STAR Awards.

UNESCO Bangkok (2019)

Organized an international conference in the Philippines, "Regional Conference on Transforming Teacher Development," with 70 participants from Bhutan, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan.

FHI360 (2019)

Assisted in the preparatory activities to develop a proposal for the USAID project,
"Quality Education and Skills Training (QUEST)."

Asian Development Bank (intermittent from 2013-2019)

Organized ADB's International Skills Forum. Analyzed the designs of ADB-approved TVET projects from 2010-2019. Provided technical support to ADB's Education Sector Group.

UNESCO Paris (intermittent from 2012-2018)

Developed content for the UNESCO ICT in Education Policy Toolkit. Facilitated workshops to develop ICT in education masterplan in Uzbekistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, and Maldives.

Pacific Rim Innovation and Management Exponents (intermittent from 2015-2019)

Analyzed Cambodia's preparedness on ICT in education for the ADB project, "Strengthening Science and Math in Upper Secondary Education." Assisted PhD researchers from Columbia University to conduct interviews and gather data in the Philippines.

The Asia Foundation (2016)

Drafted the ICT in Education Masterplan for Cambodia.

Plan International (2014)

Led an international team to conduct a market survey in Tacloban after Typhoon Haiyan. Developed a project proposal for ACCENTURE funding.

The World Bank (intermittent from 2012-2015)

Facilitated workshop for Caribbean states' education planners on developing ICT in education masterplan. Provided technical assistance on ICT in education policy and planning to the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd).

UNESCO Kabul (2012)

Part of an international team that reviewed Afghanistan's education sector and prepared recommendations to international donors.

UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (2011)

Trained UN personnel in Lebanon to prepare project concept notes and project proposals.
